two pairs with double hinged arms and loop ends, one by Wardell & Kempson, the second with duty mark and lion passant only; a pair with sliding extensions, makers mark TM, Birmingham, no date letter; and a pair with small ring ends, indistinct maker's mark London 1817; three similar steel framed spectacles, with sliding extensions; another pair, with double hinged arms, tinted green shades; two other pairs of spectacles, with wire-work steel frames; a pair of simulated tortoiseshell framed spectacles, probably circa 1930, with yellow metal folding arms; a late 18th / early 19th century silver quizzing glass, unmarked, oval frame, with wrythen knop; a pair of folding steel Pince-nez, with tinted shades; and other items including a filigree pocket watch case; a silver propelling pencil, unmarked, with fluted column stem; a folding rule, from and etui; a brass and ivory folding rule; a tortoiseshell toothpick box; an unmarked yellow metal and simulated tortoiseshell cheroot holder; a small mercury thermometer, with ivory panel; a seal handle and other implements including a flint arrow head.
