A half-length portrait miniature of a Gentleman, his arms folded, wearing blue coat with black collar, white waistcoat, chemise, stock and tied cravat, his hair powdered.
Signed on obverse with initials and dated JR/ 1798, gold frame, the reverse glazed to reveal border of plaited hair surrounding a gold monogram RB on gold mounted oval blue glass plaque.
Oval, 67mm (2 5/8in) high
