Five to Acting Sergeant S.W.Weaver, London Regiment, later Lieutenant Surrey Home Guard,
British War and Victory Medal (8050 A.Sjt.S.W.Weaver. 7-Lond.R.); Territorial Force War Medal (8050 Cpl.S.W.Weaver. 7-Lond.R.); Defence Medal; Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, G.V.R. (354160 Cpl-L.Sjt.S.W.Weaver. 7/Lond.R.). Additionally mounted with an Arras commemorative medal. Together with corresponding miniatures and an Arras medallion. Very fine or better. (Lot)


  • The lot also includes a large quantity of period items and ephemera to include badges, buttons, Small Book, photographs including WW1 period album including 25th London pre-war photos, Home Guard period forage cap, certificate for the Arras medal, Home Guard certificate confirming service from 28.5.1940 to 31.12.1944, letter confirming promotion to Second Lieutenant (Camouflage Officer), letter confirming his final rank of Lieutenant dated 14.11.1947. There is also a privately printed book on camouflage done by the Surrey Home Guard, and minor other items.
