A. of hexagonal shape, Arabic manuscript on cream-coloured fibrous paper, 115 leaves, 9 lines to the page written in elongated naskhi script in black ink, text on each page written within a roundel outlined in red, sura headings in red, 8 pages at beginning and end with central roundels incorporating the Shahadah written in black ink on a green ground decorated with coloured vegetal motifs, brown morocco binding, crudely repaired, 37 x 37 mm.; B. Arabic manuscript on beige fibrous paper, 178 leaves, 10 lines to the page written in a cursive script in black ink, inner margins ruled in red, sura headings in red, 8 pages at beginning and end with central roundels incorporating the Shahadah and the names of God, Muhammad and the phrase al-Qur'an al-karim, all written in gold on a beige ground within rectangular panels decorated with vegetal motifs on a green ground, light brown morocco binding, one cover damaged, crudely rebacked, 37 x 30 mm.; C. Arabic manuscript on beige fibrous paper, 142 leaves, 8 lines to the page written in a cursive script in black ink, inner margins ruled in red, sura headings in naskhi script in red, 8 pages at beginning and end with roundels incorporating the following names of God: al-Rahman, al-Rahim, al-Malik, al-Qudus, al-Sallam, al-Mu'min, al-Muhaimin, al-Aziz on a mauve ground within rectangular panels decorated with floral and vegetal motifs in red and green on a beige ground, brown morocco binding, worn, crudely rebacked
