Arabic manuscript on thin paper, 216 leaves, 19 lines to the page written in small naskhi script with diacritics and vowel points in black, gold dots between verses, inner margins ruled in blue and gold, lacking catchwords, sura headings written in thuluth script in gold, one illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, remargined, creased, small tears, some waterstaining, reddish-brown morocco, inner borders with blind-tooled decoration, slightly worn, doublures of green morocco, stamp impressions of the private library of Rahim Shaykh-zadeh
