Decorated in the well with a circular medallion depicting a dignitary, an elegant lady and three boys at play; framed by a band of elegant ladies in a garden; the base with an elaborate peony mark. 25.7cm (10 1/8in) diam


  • Provenance: The base with 'George Eumorfopoulos D.4' and 'Manchester City Art Gallery, 1913' labels. There is also an old rectangular label on the base stating: 'R.T. Gwynn/Geo Eumorfopoulos Catalogue by R.L.Hobson 1927 E26 plate 8 Volume 5/Exhibited 'Aid China' Wallace Collection 1943'.
