A gilt-bronze figure of a Lama
Probably 18th century
Cast seated wearing a typically-pointed cap and thickly-folded robes, the right hand stretched out in the gift-giving mudra and holding a lotus blossom, the left hand across the lap holding a small water pot, all on an integral base relief decorated with eight small Buddhist deities at the front and incised with two rows of Tibetan script on the reverse.
