Prisoner of War style bone ship model, probably late 19th century.
Hull of pinned bone planks, pierced for 24 guns per side, with carved stern galleries, trailboard and figurehead. Laid bone decking, with capstan, galley chimneys and companionway. Bone spars, with detailed running and standing rigging. Set on wooden crutches on a baseboard, with an acrylic cover. 15.5x8.5x14ins. (39x22x36cm)
