A mid 18th century walnut and fruitwood inlaid bureau
inlaid with quarter fan medallions, rosettes and ribbon tied drapery swags, the fall inlaid with an armorial crest comprising two crowned lions holding a coronet and coat of arms with the motto: 'Je men tiendrai, enclosing six drawers, four pigeon holes, an ink well with a sliding top and a central door, above two short and two long drawers, on ogee bracket feet, the inlay possibly later, 94cm wide x 51cm deep x 105cm high, (37" wide x 20" deep x 41" high)
