A late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock with repeat
the Anglaise Riche case ornately cast with scrolling acanthus leaves and classical masks, the back door similarly cast throughout, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and seconds hand, the lever platform escapement also finely engraved, the twin train movement striking on a bell and stamped JAPY FRERES MEDAILLE D'OR, 19cm high
