the break-arch top surmounted by a swing handle, with reticulated frets to the sides, raised on a plinth base above bracket feet, the signed, painted arched dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary Strike / Silent above, the twin train fusee movement with verge escapement, striking on a bell, the backplate engraved with a decorative border, 47cm high
