the bell top applied with a gilt mounted depicting a basket of flowers, surmounted by a gilt fruiting finial and flanked by four further smaller finials, the case with canted angles with gilt caryatid figures, the sides with Renaissance style gilt pierced sound frets, on a plinth base, the arched brass dial with Roman chapter ring and gilt spandrels, with a subsidiary dial for Slow / Fast above, the twin train movement striking the quarters on four bells and the hours on a gong, 71cm high
