surmounted by a winged putto with two doves, a spaniel beside seated on a cushion, raised on four tapering pilasters surmounted by sphinx busts, on a plinth base with anthemion border, the signed, white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, the twin train movement with outside countwheel and silk suspension, striking on a bell, lacking pendulum, 52cm high
