of rectangular form with shaped edges, the inside of the lid decorated with a hexagon veneered in various woods including sandalwood, palmwood, teak and rosewood, with ebony and ivory chequered stringing, the interior with numerous fitted compartments with ivory lids, some veneers lacking, some detached, 40cm wide, 27cm deep, 16.5cm high (15.5" wide, 10.5" deep, 6" high)
