the bell top surmounted by a brass handle and flanked by four pinecone finials, the arched door with brass caryatids, on a plinth base and bracket feet, the silvered arched dial with moonphase, the engraved centre signed John Smith London, the twin train movement striking on a bell, the pierced backplate stamped JUNGHAMS, 38cm high
