the drum case surmounted by a figure of Cupid holding an hour glass, flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves issuing bunches of grapes, on a shaped base hung with a floral garland, with porcelain panels depicting winged putti and a trophy, the porcelain dial centred by floral garlands and with Roman numerals, the twin train movement striking on a bell, stamped JBD, 36cm high
