the arched top surmounted by a flaming finial and inlaid with brass stringing, above free standing Corinthian columns, the sides with arched glazed doors, on a plinth base and four bun feet, the gilt twelve piece dial with Roman numerals and Arabic markings to the outer track, the matted centre with scrolling acanthus leaves, with an applique below of Diana and Apollo centred by an enamel relief inscribed Gribelin A Paris, the associated twin train movement anchorised and striking on a bell, with outside countwheel, the backplate signed Le Baigue A Paris, 57cm high
