the superstructure comprising a galleried top over central mirrored bay with an arched front, flanked by two smaller panelled doors mounted with Sevres style porcelain plaques depicting fashionable ladies, enclosing one shelf, interspersed with four stop-fluted and canted angles, the two ends mounted with figures of Shakespeare and Milton, on a stand comprising a porcelain-encrusted guilloche frieze with one long drawer and two short drawers, the long drawer enclosing a sliding leather lined writing surface top, above two platform mirrored back undertiers, on fluted Corinthian columns, terminating in ring turned toupie feet and ceramic castors, 123cm wide x 58cm deep x 154cm high, (48" wide x 22.5" deep x 60.5" high)
