each panel painted and inlaid with stained bamboo, ivory, jade and mother-of-pearl on a black lacquer ground, decorated with elegant ladies supervising boys at play on a stepped terrace dotted with pine, bamboo and rockwork between fruiting and foliate sprays, below a border comprising other floral and fruiting sprays, with fire-breathing mythical animals to the base, the reverse painted a deep red and interspersed with gold floral sprigs, on twelve stepped supports, 243cm wide x 2.5cm deep x 199cm high, (95.5" wide x 0.5" deep x 78" high)
