the bell top surmounted by a flaming urn and flanked by four similar finials above a moulded cornice and a pair of canted corners applied with satyr mask terms, on a plinth base applied with a mask of the green man amongst C scrolls, on four claw feet, the sides with decorative frets depicting putti masks within sunbursts, the arched brass dial with pierced decoration and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic minute markers, with two subsidiary dials above for Slow / Fast and Strike / Silent, the twin train movement striking on two gongs, the backplate with snailed decoration and stamped D.R.
