by Dussault a Paris and Jacques Antoine Theódore Coinchon, French (1841-1881)
modelled as a fluted column on a circular base, above four lobed gilt metal feet, surmounted by a bronze by Coinchon depicting a putto with a goose, signed CoincHon 1845, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minute markers signed DUSSAULT A PARIS PASAGE CHOISEUIL 17, the twin train movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, 57cm high
