of rectangular form surmounted by a biscuit porcelain figure of a classical maiden seated and holding a flaming heart in her right hand, the front of the clock fitted with a pair of bronze reliefs depicting the Pelican in its Piety within foliate gilt borders, raised on a plinth base and four toupie feet, the signed 5 inch white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, the twin train movement with Brocot suspension, deadbeat escapement and outside countwheel striking on a bell, 57cm high
