A mid 19th century French brass carriage clock with subsidiary seconds dial and alarm
surmounted by a turned handle over bevelled glazed panels and a shuttered rear panel, the rectangular silvered Roman dial with subsidiary seconds at XII and alarm-setting dial at VI, the associated movement with lever platform escapement striking the hours and sounding the alarm on a bell, together with a tooled leather travelling case with central brass handle, twin side buckles and velvet-lined interior, 18.5cms (7.25ins) high (2)
