An early Victorian satinbirch, ebony and penwork games/work table
The rectangular top with a penwork chequerboard, each square with differing scenes, within a foliate border, above a pleated silk sliding work bag and side frieze drawer, on pierced lyre shaped end supports and plinth base joined by a concave stretcher, with castors, 52cm wide, 53cm deep, 72cm high (20" wide, 20.5" deep, 28" high).
