A Dutch mid 18th century walnut and fruitwood marquetry bombé bureau cabinet
inlaid with flowers, honeysuckle, birds, floral filled urns, acanthus leaves, butterflies, a military trophy and a figure of Cupid, the arched shaped broken pediment centred with an urn finial, above a pair of shaped panelled bevelled glass inset doors (probably later), enclosing a pair of central cupboard doors revealing fourteen graduating doors, encircled by twenty seven drawers and six pigeon holes, with a fall below enclosing a central cupboard door flanked by eight drawers, four pigeonholes, two apron drawers and a writing compartment with a slide top, over three long graduating drawers, on tapering block front feet, 118cm wide x 65cm deep x 213cm high, (46" wide x 25.5" deep x 83.5" high)
