A mahogany two-tier pier table
in the George III style
possibly Irish, the grey veined marble top above a shaped frieze centred with an applied foliate scrolled eagle carving, on four large square supports, with acanthus leaf hipped cabriole front legs terminating in claw and ball feet, the marble top broken in two, possibly adapted from a larger 18th century table, applied with an ivorine plaque which reads: 'FURNITURE AND FINE ART DEPOSITORIES LTD, PARK ST, ISLINGTON, BY ROYAL APPOINTMENT TO H.M. THE KING OF SPAIN', 133cm wide x 59cm deep x 89cm high, (52" wide x 23" deep x 35" high)
