the drum case surmounted by a swagged urn and flanked by a laurel wreath, raised on a portico base with six free standing columns, with a pair of gilt bronze figures below depicting Cupid and Psyche, on a shaped plinth base with beaded decoration above six toupie feet, the signed white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals and Roman minute markers, the twin train movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, with a sunburst pendulum, 34cm wide, 18cm deep, 59cm high (13" wide, 7" deep, 23" high)
