  • These plasters are after the late fifteenth century originals in the Certosa at Pavia. They are from the Old Sacrestry, school of G. A. Amadeo, attributed to Gian Cristoforo Romano.
    Provenance: The Metropolitan Museum purchased these plasters between 1886-1895. They were subsequently sold at Sotheby's, New York, 28 February 2006, part of lot 148.
