Bonhams 1793 : Steiff centre seam Teddy bear, circa 1909

The straw filled brown mohair bear with black boot button eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed at shoulders and hips, elongated arms and large feet with felt paw pads, button to left ear and wearing a leather collar with bells, (sparse areas to head and upper arms, pads replaced), 41cm (16in) tall.
