Two gilt-bound, and porcelain-mounted decorative boxes
The first a walnut example with oval, floral-painted porcelain plaque to the cover, 16cms long and 6.5cms high, and the second a kingwood example, of oval form, with octagonal cover and base, the cover with oval painted plaque of flowers in a basket, the inside of the lock engraved 'Maison Vervelle', 18.5cms long and 9.5cms high (2).
