Having a 8-inch cream-painted dial with black Roman hours, inscribed "J. Lake, Braintree", the twin-fusee movement with anchor escapement, striking the hours on a bell, unmarked back with shouldered plates, the humped case with carved cresting and conforming bombé sides on plinth base and compressed bun feet(sold with pendulum and winder) 44 cm high,
