A Royal Worcester vase and cover, painted by James Stinton

The rounded globular form vase, standing on a moulded pedestal base, the body flanked with twin acanthus scroll handles, extending to a pierced fretwork collar embellished with laurel garlands and surmounted by domed blush ivory cover, the body painted with mallards in flight before a marshy landscape; 32cm high, puce printed factory mark and shape number 1428.
