A Victorian Staffordshire figure of a glazed lion
The lion modelled stood, with front left paw raised on a ball, with a small figure of a soldier lying below, on a raised plinth base with mouldings of trailing vines, decorated in a rich brown treacle glaze; 32cm long, 26cm high (some chips to base).
