Of bombe sarcophagus form with angled bracket feet, inlaid with cut mother-of-pearl in foliate and hunting scene designs, the closing surface edges of the lid and box inlaid with foliate cut mother-of-pearl to ebony veneers and repeated to a rectangular form inset to underside of the lid edging a ruched pink silk panel, the moiré pink silk lined tray containing a set of six floret carved reels, a matching emery, waxer and tape measure, a mother-of-pearl thimble, a set of six mother-of-pearl thread winders, a tambour hook, a stiletto, a pair of scissors, a cut glass scent bottle, an ivory and gold banded tambour hook and further related needle-roles and ephemera, including a Victorian Valentines card,
