A garniture of Mason's vases
Circa 1810
Each of campana urn shape with solid gilt druid head handles, mounted on a square plinth base, the body of each finely painted with central panels depicting scenes of courting couples amidst rural landscapes, the verso of each similarly painted with architectural interior scenes detailed with fruits and foliage in the foreground, reserved against a rich cobalt blue ground, finely gilded with scrolling barley and corn giltwork surrounding a leaf sunburst motif; tallest 20cm high, smaller pair 17cm high, unmarked.
