The broken arch hood with a broken swan necked pediment and central brass pineapple finial, the door with a molded inner edge revealing a brass 10 inch dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, the dial decorated with an Eagle surmounting a cartouche engraved 'Tempus Fugit', and engrave stylised floral spandrels. The trunk with brass topped spiral Corinthian columns and a flame mahogany long door with a molded edge and inlaid stringing panel, the inlaid base raised on squat bracket feet. The four pillar chain driven mechanism ringing on a bell. 86.5" high
