An Anderson, Anderson & Anderson mesh patterned golf ball circa 1920s
All original paint coverage and no damage. Rare. Together with a Silvertown moulded mesh gutty ball circa 1880s, no strike marks and good paint coverage. a Sparkbrook Talisman with inverted trapezium cover pattern (as shown in The Story of the Golf Ball (2003) Page 190); a Saxon mesh ball with blue triangles and red numbers, near perfect; a Spading Blue Triangle ball with a cover pattern of triangles; and a Silver King bramble golf ball with 98% paint coverage presented in a Silver King black and white Bakelite six ball box.
