Provenance: By direct family descent from A.W. (Alfred) Knights who was a member of the 1933 Ryder Cup Joint Committee. He agreed at the last minute to escort Edward Prince of Wales around the Southport & Ainsdale after a fellow Committee member had been forced to drop out.
