A Japanese ivory Tanuki study
19th Century
Modelled as three tanuki, (raccoon dogs), in graduated size, the largest with large protruding belly and rope around it's neck, resting on it's belly two further, smaller tanuki, each with inlaid eyes, unsigned;
12cm long, 4.5cm high (at highest point).
