The square hood with swan-neck pediment above moulded rectangular pillars, the raised panel long door with shaped top and inlaid shell marquetry to centre, the raised panel base above a shaped plinth, a white painted 12-inch dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, secondary seconds dial and date aperture, hand-painted shell and scroll work spandrels and exotic bird decoration, the weight driven four-pillar mechanism striking on a bell, 203cm high.
