An unusual early George III oak and mahogany lowboy
Circa 1760
Having a rectangular top inset with mahogany banding centred by a quatrefoil design with conforming spandrels, over one short and two deep cockbeaded and banded frieze drawers set within a highly unusual apron forming a pair of facing bird heads, their eyes highlighted in ivory, raised on four cabriole legs terminating in pointed pad feet, 89cm wide x 51.5cm deep x 70.5cm high, (35" wide x 20" deep x 27.5" high)
