Four pieces of good 19th Century Scottish treen
To include an unusual sycamore, alder and willow-banded miniature barrel, of typical form, made with alternating bands of sycamore and alder with feathered joints, bound to the top and bottom with strips of willow, with glass 'window' to one end, and small 'tap' to the other, 9.5cm diameter x 19.5cm long, together with a small beech keg or costrell, of flattened cylindrical form, banded to either end with willow, and with stopper to the top, 13cm wide x 4.5cm deep x 9cm high, a sycamore, alder and willow luggie, of tapering cylindrical form and made of alternating bands of light and dark timber with feathered joints, bound with willow strips, and with shaped high handle, double-bottomed and with pea to rattle, 11.5cm diameter x 17cm high, and a sycamore and alder bicker, made of alternating staves and bound with willow, with two handles, and alternating lozenge pattern to the interior, 5.5cm diameter x 5cm high, (4)
