Artist's statement:
My practice is informed by the fragility and volatility of human physicality, and how this is portrayed through photography. I am interested in the nature of the violent and/or political image and its repercussions as a document. Thus, I aim to examine our restrictive responses to images of pain or death, and the juxtaposition between brutality and beauty found within them.
