A set of eight Coalport porcelain comports
Circa 1861-75
Comprising four tall comports each supporting an oval pierced dish on a quatrolobed base, and four lower comports each supporting a circular pierced dish on a triform base, all with an elaborately formed central stem modelled as parian winged angels seated before a pierced stem in the form of stylised foliate leaves with turquoise glaze and edged in gilt, the bases with a band of egg and dart moulding, turquoise glaze, and a band of ribbon and foliate moulding picked out in gilt, the tall oval comports 30cm high, the lower circular comports 22.5cm high, gilt ampersand mark
