A pair of George III silver wine coasters
one set of marks to foot rim which are indecipherable, and a further set to the cartouche by Patrick Robertson, Edinburgh 1777
The pierced sides with bands of arcading and quatrefoil design, with fine bead rim, each with shaped cartouche engraved with the initials 'JF' beneath the coronet of an Earl, the turned wood bases later, diameter 13cm.
