A bamboo basket of the morikago type with split and twisted bamboo handle tied with decorative knots, signed Maeda Chikubôsai I, 38cm diameter, a second ikebana basket formed in smoked bamboo by ajiro-ami (twill-like) weaving with two bands of longer stitches where the golden colour is visible, signed, 34cm high, another basket with two bands of recessed star-shaped patterns below an incurving ajiro-ami neck, 46cm high, a fourth of slender form with broad crossed strips of bamboo over gozame-ami (mat plaiting) with long curving arches at the neck, 50cm high, another globular example in smoked and rubbed bamboo, 36cm high, a small pale bamboo ikebana in hexagonal pattern with horizontal strips interwoven, 31cm high, another square necked basket of bulb form in fine dark yotsume-ami (square weave) with five strand handle, 45cm high, another oval morikago in yotsume-ami with horizontal bands of different widths, 35.5cm long, an oval creel-type basket with hoops on one side, 28cm long, a small spiralling ajiro-ami basket with hanging hoop rather than handle, 14cm high, another hanging example of flattened form in complex woven pattern of speckled bamboo, 19cm high, a small ikebana with an open band of vertical strips between two gozame-ami bands, 27cm high, another small vertical basket formed of two crossed and glued bamboo strips, 19.5cm high, another small densely woven yotsume-ami basket with long flexible handle, 17cm high, a small round morikago in smoked bamboo, 17cm diameter, and a wicker cage basket with hoop handles, (some breakages), 27cm diameter, a shallow morikago in hexagonal pattern, (broken handle), 28cm high, together with a birds-nest type arrangement tied around a bamboo base, 35cm high, a gozame-ami ladle, 32cm high, and a gozame-ami hinged box with brass fittings,
