  • Provenance: The items were given to the Royal nanny, Helen Lightbody, who was born and died in Jedburgh. She looked after Queen Elizabeth's children, and also the children of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. When she died Prince Charles sent a wreath to the funeral and her headstone is also marked with a plaque stating the she was the Royal Nanny.
