Worked in coloured wools on linen, with central inscription "The loss of Gold is much, the loss of time is more, but the loss of Christ is such, as no man can restore", and with rows of letters and numbers, family initials, an urn issuing flowers, peacocks, rabbits, etc, all within trailing floral border, 31cm wide, 43cm high (12" wide, 16.5" high)
