An 18th century style presentation dirk
The 28cm plated blade with faceted back edge, and double fuller on each side, carved wood basket weave hilt, with brass mounts the pommel set with a cap with lobed white nut, engraved 'St Andrews 30th Augt 1892 C.R.H. & D.Mc.G. beat A.M.R. & W.Mc.G. by 6 up & 5 to play & Luffness. 3rd, Sept. 1892 by 7 up & 6 to play', together with a George V cavalry officers sword with blade etched to the riccaso 'Clement Murray Sheffield', and to the blade 'T.H. Irving' contained within its leather covered scabbard, (2).
