A George III small silver inkstand
Maker's mark rubbed, London 1800
The oval stand on four scrolling paw feet, the central taperstick column with attached snuff, flanked by two pierced guard rings for two cut glass ink bottles, (the tops unmarked), the reeded finger ring with flat thumbpiece, the base with central rod with hook, positioned to hold each upper section in place, length 14.5cm.
